I am a member of Pinelake Baptist Church, where I have been attending since 2003, and a member since 2004. I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior at a youth retreat around the age of 12. As many do I have strayed from the flock but Jesus always lead me back into the fold. Through thick and thin God has always been there for me, but never did I reach the personal relationship that I have with Jesus, as did I when my wife and I began attending Pinelake together in 2003. We made a covenant with ourselves and God to make the Lord the third strand to keep our marriage bond strong as in Ecclesiastes 4:12. “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Two Christians that are bound together in Christ are stronger than the individuals themselves. We hold this true and lean upon each other, and ultimately upon God for our strength.
I have volunteered with the preschoolers, as a Sunday School Teacher, I have rocked the babies, I have help with the video production, in preparing the recorded sermons conversion to be uploaded as a podcast and updated the RSS feed to indicate the changes. I enjoy the sermons by Chip Henderson and all of the Pastoral staff at Pinelake. We participate in the small groups ministry and attend services weekly, and sometimes even more.
We believe that having Godly friends is important to keep you on the right path and keep you from straying from the narrow road.
